Richard Mille signs multi-year partnership with Scuderia Ferrari

Swiss luxury watchmaker Richard Mille becomes a Scuderia Ferrari team partner, arranging a multi-year partnership.

Richard Mille reveals the next few years will see the development of a specific range of watches through the close collaboration of the factory in Switzerland and Ferrari’s design department.

The Scuderia were previously sponsored by Geneva’s watch brand Hublot from 2011, gradually expanding into their WEC programme and, last year, their Esports Series.

Richard Mille joined Formula 1 in 2016 when they signed a 10-year partnership with McLaren, before adding Alfa Romeo Sauber and Haas F1 to their portfolio of partners.

This partnership comes after Richard Mille having supported Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc’s racing career as he progressed through the feeder series.

The Swiss watchmaker had also supported other members of Ferrari’s driver academy, namely the late Jules Bianchi and F1 newcomer Mick Schumacher.

At the beginning of the year, Scuderia Ferrari’s website was updated and Richard Mille’s logo was seen in the partners section, however it was quickly removed.

Richard Mille logos will be present on the team’s SF21 car, driver overalls, gloves, helmets, teamwear, hospitality and academy members.

For 2021 Richard Mille is partnered with Scuderia Ferrari and McLaren, as their deals with Alfa Romeo Sauber and Haas F1 expired at the end of last year.
