McLaren Racing and Mission Foods, American tortilla and wraps manufacturer, are set to announce a new deal that will make the foods brand return to Formula 1 after a two-race deal in 2019, Decalspotters understands.
Mission Foods offers a wide portfolio of tortillas, wraps, flatbreads, and chips with global presence in 112 countries around the world.
The brands are united since 2019, when Mission Foods joined McLaren’s vast sponsor portfolio as the team prepared for their failed Indy 500 project, on a deal that put the MISSION® brand on a global platform within IndyCar and Formula 1 simultaneously.
Earlier this year, McLaren’s IndyCar team Arrow McLaren SP and Mission Foods had announced they had entered a multi-year partnership, becoming heavily present in the team’s car and identity.
As part of the partnership, the MISSION® brand is expected to be represented at least on the front wing endplate of McLaren’s MCL35 car.
