Alfa Romeo Racing ORLEN, managed and operated by Sauber Motorsport AG, has announced a new deal with Swedish chocolate drink brand Huski Chocolate for the 2020 Formula 1 season. The brand had appeared on the team’s car last season as part of a one-race deal at the US Grand Prix on its sidepods.
“We are proud to announce this partnership with our friends at Huski Chocolate. We got to know their brand well at the United States GP last year and we are delighted the success of that initial partnership led to this new deal. The Huski chocolate drinks were extremely popular with our team personnel and guests and we’re happy their taste will be with us for the whole of the season.”Frédéric Vasseur, Alfa Romeo Racing ORLEN Team Principal and Sauber Motorsport AG CEO
The Swedish brand joined the world of motorsports last year in a multi-year deal with McLaren Racing, with a rocky start in the community that tried to find out about the drinks’ commercial whereabouts, and over the course of the year joined other championships, namely IndyCar and NASCAR.
Huski Chocolate will adorn the team’s C39 car, as well as the drivers’ race suits and hats and the team personnel’s shirts. The Swedish brand’s chocolate drinks will also be available in the team’s hospitality unit and garage.
“We are well connected to the great people at Alfa Romeo Racing ORLEN, and look forward to working with them for the upcoming season. Their team is a shining example of Swiss precision and Italian passion coming together to achieve excellence and success. There are also strong Nordic connections present which reflect the Swedish and Finnish heritage of Huski Chocolate, it feels natural to bring Alfa Romeo Racing ORLEN into our family of sponsorships, strengthening our presence in Formula One alongside our current partnerships, which we remain deeply committed to.”Linus Wessman, Huski Chocolate CEO
